AU FIL DE L'ARBRE
A poetical show that takes us into a musical and faeric universe, halfway between contemporary circus and dance, developping around a tree hanging above the ground.
« Au Fil de l'Arbre » is an invitation to a voyage that lets us peep into a fantasy world, a fragile encounter between inside and outside, between dream and reality.
It is a story about harmony being possible between man and nature. The artist gives her whole and blind trust to a natural tree, pure wood as grown from seed. The show reveals the beauty of the tree, who has been previously polished by a river. The roots, intimacy, are exposed on stage, and the tree - usually rooted in the ground - is now hanging. The wood, that some call "dead" has never been so alive, it is vibrating, it turns, it dances and expresses its souls in a poetic moment.
It is the story about harmony being posible between music and movement, each sound has a visual echo in a gesture. The musicians watch this dance that might only be a reflecting of their art, a dream emodied ever so evanescently...
