AERIAL BIOGRAPHY

Elsa Bishop and Agnès Guyot meet for the first time in 2001, in a workshop organized by Philippe Decouflé.

Each one goes her own way, Agnes pursuing her studies and then working in the "Merveille au pays des Alices" show, and Elsa creating the Company Etincelle and developping aerial dance on suspended trees with "Au fil de l'arbre".

Then in 2005 they come together again around a common passion: the swinging trapeze!

From this new starting point, they decide to work together. First it is a technical mutual help, then an artistic affinity emerges.

As time passes, investment in a rigging enables them to perform together, and they create the "Experimentation Trapezoidales" show, with the help of long time friend and teacher Véronique Gougat, clown teacher Freddy Desverronnières, technical help of friends Cyril Behar and Etienne Verhillac.

The show plays throughout the summers of 2006 and 2007, delighting hundreds, touring through many regions in France, including Corsica.

Then Agnes decides to embark on another demanding adventure: motherhood! Elsa turns to her partner Cyril and together they create the "Trajectoires Aléatoires" show, inspired by their common passion for toys and childhood pleasures. This show plays in 2010 in the south of France. In 2011 the tour takes them all the way to Belgium and Italy, opening new doors and tracing the way for an international 2012 tour (Germany and Luxembourg are on the list).

In the meantime Agnes, now mother of two, is back on the trapeze and the "Triolet de Cordes" starts to gather strength, with the arrival of Carole Sauvage as a turning point. Now it is a trio work, with live music giving even more intensity and depth to the work. See for yourself!
